Are UFO's Fact Or Fiction?
UFO is an abbreviation of Unidentified Flying Object. There has been quite a lot said and heard over the years about sightings of possible or actual alien spacecraft, many of these sightings may include objects like meteors, disintegrating satellites, flocks of birds, aircraft, lights, weather balloons, or just about anything moving within the visible band of electromagnetism. However, so far, it would appear that everything which has been said about these sightings has turned out to be a just gossip or fiction. This is because our senses and science require logics and proofs, and so far, no one has been able to produce actual proof that could help to positively identify any UFO sighting as an alien spacecraft. No one has been able to produce any physical evidence to support of their claim that they have seen alien spacecraft or actual aliens. Ofcourse, the possibility of some government agencies having proof of such things is a strong one. If any government agency anywhere in the world does have such proof it is highly unlikely that they would share this with the general population.
Are UFOs Science A Science Fiction?Well, we are not in a position to say anything for definite as of now. If we study the history of the sightings related to UFO, we would come across many things that indicate a whole world of unknown truths. Still, nothing can be said for certain. If we talk about the evidence, well, we have an huge array of such evidence, but none of this is very reliable.
Take for example the large number of photographs which have been published of UFOs. They all appear blurred and many of these are quite obviously forgeries. Again, many people talk about physical evidence, such as alleged debris from alien crashes, or scorch marks on the ground apparently from alien landings, or implants in noses or brains of alien bodies, etc. But, when science does its job, most of these alleged physical evidences turn out to be terrestrial and or just forgeries.
Despite there being no reliable proof that we know of to support the existence of UFOs, most of the world still believe that there are such things. Well, the main reason why people believe in such objects is the testimony of people who claim to have been witness to alien events. They claim to have seen things of alien origin and their questionable interpretations of visual experiences force us to rethink. However, there are of course many other reasons for this. For example, mankind has a typical nature and it will not be an exaggeration that most of us are unable to distinguish science fiction from science fact. Because of our human nature, most of us have an overwhelming desire to contact other worlds, and this gives us cause to believe in UFOs. This desire is so strong that we are quite open to suggestion and are quite willing to trust incompetent people who tell us fantastic stories.
Overall, one of the most important facts which should be noted is that those people who claim to have watched the UFO are mostly untrained sky watchers. No professional or amateur astronomer has ever made such claims. This is the reason why UFOs would appear to be sheer science fiction instead of being science fact.

Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 is perhaps the most famous and celebrated case of a UFO "incident." If you follow the main accounts of this story you would indeed be influenced to think that something from another world did crash on planet earth. Even more, the beings that piloted the crashed spacecraft were supposedly captured and detained by the US military.
All of this is denied, of course, by the US military and the US Government. They described the extensive wreckage and debris that was strewn across the countryside as a broken up weather balloon. Whatever it was there was a massive operation to clean it all up in record time.
Supposedly, eye-witnesses were either sworn to secrecy with the aid of financial "incentives" or threatened with physical harm if they did not change their original accounts of what they saw and confirm that the debris was, in fact, pieces of a simple weather balloon.
To this day it has remained quite a conspiracy. It has never really been adequately explained. Rumors abound that the pilots of the extraterrestrial vessels are still in captivity, presumably dead and preserved in formaldehyde glass tombs.
We also have thousands of photographs and film recordings of mysterious lights in the skies all over the world. Every country has reported the acrobatics that are so often displayed by these lights. Whatever they are, one thing is certain - they defy the laws of physics on this planet as we presently know them.
Notice I said: "as we presently know them." Just over a century ago mankind never knew about radio waves or electricity either. Neither of these can be seen, yet they are now there for us all to use in our everyday lives.
During the time of sailing ships everybody believed that the earth was flat and that to sail beyond the horizon would see a ship fall off the face of the earth. To where, nobody was really sure.
Just a few centuries later we have been able to send astronauts into space and land on the surface of the moon. Other probes with powerful cameras have also been sent into space. Organisations like SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) now exist.
How arrogant do we have to be to deny completely the existence of intelligent life forms in other galaxies? Are we the ONLY entities alive on the ONLY planet capable of sustaining life? That is what we are led to believe.
Surely, if beings from other solar systems have been able to venture here then they must be more advanced in technology than we presently are. That only stands to reason.
Given the advances that mankind has made in the last two hundred years and, the exponential rate of that advancement over the last twenty years then the possibility of life on other planets in other solar systems becomes more and more plausible.

The recent flood of UFO reports, alien abduction, exposed military reports and television shows on the subject brings a question to mind other than the existence of such things. Where are these spacecraft and aliens from?
The history channel and news reports as well Internet sources , with credible witnesses, photos and video clips have made these things existence all but scientific fact. Unless there is some sort of huge conspiracy between the entertainment industry and the military as well as hundreds, maybe thousands of pilots and sailors. Columbus even had an encounter with a USO (unidentified submerged object). Apparently alien encounters and craft sightings have been witnessed as long as man has been here.
So who are these aliens and where are they from? Outer space is the most popular theory for where and most would say outer space creatures for who. The fact that they make a minimal impact on us and that there is a lack of physical evidence is commonly considered by sceptics as good argument against the believers. However for an alternative theory of the origin of aliens and spaceships the lack of interaction and physical evidence is supportive. What if these craft and encounters are us humans in time machines taking tours of history. In the fantastic realm of time travel theory and popular fiction, time travelers have the responsibility to not cause disruptions that could be fatal to them and others (like running over yourself in the past). Thus would account for the lack of interaction. One story on the history channel included a retired military man that claimed much of the technology we have today he recovered from a downed spacecraft, fiber optics and micro chips naming two. This could support the theory of time travellers, the fact we can use this stuff.
With more research and more witnesses getting older, even those sworn to secrecy, the question of if they are real will be replaced. Are they really aliens or natives to this planet?
UFOs - Can They Be Explained By Natural Phenomena?

Testimonials and allure surrounding the sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects and other strange phenomena have been with us for at least decades.
Debates and ideas as to the source or cause of UFOs and UFO sightings continues to rage on as ferociously today as it did back in the 1960s. Is there really a government "Area 51"? Does extra-terrestrial life truly exist? Is mankind the only higher intelligence life form? Are spirits, ghosts, angels, demons and super-human life forms real? These are but a scant few of the questions asked by millions of people earth wide.

Natural Phenomena
The following five conditions are considered to be natural phenomena capable of accounting for unexplained "sightings" and other "UFO-related" events:
St. Elmo's fire
Not an uncommon sight aboard ships at sea, this unique phenomenon appears as an eerie greenish glow that crawls along masts, railings flagpoles and other wooden or metallic surfaces.
The Aurora BorealisMost commonly called the "Northern Lights" this atmospheric phenomenon is visible in the northernmost latitudes of the earth. Russia, Canada, Chile, Argentina and the Scandinavian countries all regularly report visibility of the Northern Lights.
The Aurora AustralisNear the southernmost latitudes of the earth the Aurora Australis or Southern Lights, like its northern hemisphere equivalent, is visible in the late evening skies of southern Australia and the Antarctic continent as reported by scientific crews stationed in the Antarctic region.
Earthquake LightsA more recently identified phenomenon called earthquake lights result from the sudden massive release of energy during an earthquake or tremor. These dull reddish waves of light, brilliant sparkling balls or dimly lit flashes are more likely to be visible during quakes in very late evening hours or when the earthquake occurs at night as have in Lima, Peru and Cali, Colombia.
Volcanic Eruption-related PhenomenaAnother more recently identified phenomenon is the visible occurrence of lightning flashes or other visible phenomenon immediately before, during or after a volcanic eruption. Lately, during eruptions of fairly active volcanoes such as Tungurahua in Ecuador or Galeras in Pasto, Colombia, visible phenomena have been witnessed by hundreds of people from many different walks of life.

Later, for instance the Mercury astronaut Gordon Cooper and former US president Jimmy Carter have disclosed seeing a UFO.
So what are UFOs? A UFO is an unidentified flying object. Most sightings have a natural explanation, such as a landing airplane, satellite or meteor. Some are hoaxes. But for the ardent UFO fans, some are genuine alien spaceships.
However, UFOs cannot originate from the other planets of our own solar system since scientists have failed to find any evidence of life or little green men on Mars or Venus. The nearest star outside our solar system, Proxima Centauri, is 4.2 light years from us. A space ship traveling at the speed of light would thus take 4.2 years to reach us. Many researchers think that space travel between solar systems is impossible.
Moreover, while a number of Earth-like rocky exo-planets or planets orbiting other stars have been discovered, they are either too large or too hot. It is very improbable that UFOs hail from "super Earths" such as Gliese 581 c, which is hotter than Venus.
It seems that there are some religious ingredients in UFO sightings. For some, belief in UFOs has superseded the belief in biblical Christianity. Little green men are seen as the new age saviors who will prevent earthlings from destroying themselves and their planet.
According to Gary Bates, the author of Alien Intrusion (2004), UFOs often have an evolutionary connection. If life evolved on earth by purely naturalistic means, it should also have evolved on other planets. The SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) project is an attempt to prove that we are not as special as we think.
Carl Sagan believed that the Earth was just a tiny pale blue dot in the vast cosmos. However, as Guillermo Gonzales and Jay W. Richards write in The Privileged Planet, our planet is anything but ordinary. Our planet looks as though it was designed for life. At best, we can only speculate about other worlds.
We might never get proof of the existence of little green men for a rather simple reason: there might not be any.
